Jackson’s big day… for more than one reason!!! We just got
the news. Team Esker is going
home! Jackson was also circumcised
today. I will never forget, Doctor
MacDuff came into the family room pointed at the bottom of his right leg and
said, “He got me!”
Aaahahahaha! During the
circumcision, Jackson shot a stream about 3 feet out of the crib and onto the
leg of Doctor MacDuff. Disproving
the age-old expression, “it’s better to be pissed off, than pissed on.” We also did bath time before we
left. It was an eventful day!
We have accumulated quite the collection of stuff over the past few days. I packed the hospital cart full of everything from our stay. After flexing my tetras skill in the back of the SUV, it was time to load the most important two packages of our journey. (Actually, Toni is the real tetras player. The blocks go too fast for me.) The nurse went down to the car to inspect our car seat situation. After a few pictures, we were off. I have never been so careful since behind the wheel of the driver’s education car in high school (extra slow over the tracks… an extra look left and back right at stop signs). Finally… home, sweet home!
